MAL 2024 recap: This was my third time coming to MAL and my first time coming solo (not sharing a room). I always have fun here and this time was no different. Of the large leather/fetish events (MAL, IML, CLAW, Leather Getaway), this is my favorite one. If both my guys show up tomorrow my final count will be 38 spankings given. 16 of those were at the Green Lantern party. People always say that party is too crowded to play but I don’t have any issues. Always spank around 16-17 guys at that one. I’ll have filmed nine new spanking videos by the time I leave tomorrow. Some Spanking encounters end wrong, just wrong. The Spanking could even have been well administered, but there's just something missing. Honestly, the variety will help make the moments after The Spanking more memorable, more special, more important.     A quick warning: not all boys are responsive to lecturing, so be sure to plan ahead by texting with your boy or emailing so you know fully that he is responsive. Otherwise, it can feel flat and inauthentic. With that said, give it a whirl! Learn by doing. Don't think about it. Try it out. Hello everyone, I know there are still some issues, since the crash.  I will be free in a couple of days from now, to begin work, getting things back functioning correctly.                        Discipline:  Foundation of the Father-Son Relationship                       [By: Strapman02]         [Disclaimer:  I wrote this essay [below, in 1991] , when I was just starting graduate school.  I [was] in my late 20's [when I added to, and edited, this together for this posting], do not now have children, nor have I ever had children.  I am just exercising my First Amendment rights here -- so do not try to draw the wrong conclusions by reading into this what you want to read into it, rather than what I wrote in it.  I welcome all responses to the essay, both here and in private email.]        Over the years, much has been said about the nature of the father-son  relationship, and of the proper role of the father in the rearing of his son.  The father wears many hats in his relationship with his son:  he is authoritative (and authoritarian) on certain matters; he provides his son with a role model-- himself--on how to act as a man; he is an advisor on certain issues, such as those of a sexual nature vis a vis the opposite (or, in more and more cases,  the same) sex; he is also the disciplinarian of the son.         The Bible offers its own advice for the father-son relationship:       "He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores  correction leads others astray."--Proverbs 10:17.       "Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid."--Proverbs 12:1       "He who ignores discipline comes to poverty and shame, but whoever heeds correction is honored."--Proverbs 13:18       "He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him."--Proverbs 13:24       "He who ignores discipline despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding."--Proverbs 15:32   `     It is this that which we will be discussing in this treatise.          The father has the legal authority and obligation to discipline his son.  To accomplish this goal, different fathers use different means, such as reasoning,  withholding of privileges (e.g. grounding, no car this week, etc.), cutting  allowances, and last, and in my view, most importantly--for blatant and  significant violations of house rules that could endanger himself or others  in the family or society--corporal methods.        The father is the one that takes the son into a private room, such as a  bedroom, bathroom, or other room; tells the son that he has been bad because  he has engaged in some objectionable behavior; tells the son that he is going  to be paddled, spanked, strapped, or whipped, or whatever verb you prefer; orders his son to, and if need be, he himself proceeds to, pull down the son's  pants and underpants; bends him over the back of a chair, across his lap, face down lengthwise on the bed, or on the side of a bed; and administers a paddle, a strap, or other device,  such as a razor strop, across his son's bare buttocks in a meticulous, repetitive, and severe fashion, until the son understands, under no uncertain terms, that what he did was WRONG, and, should this particular activity be repeated at any time in the future, similar, though even more  severe, consequences will befall his son.        Friends, I never had my father around to perform this most important,  necessary function.  I only wonder how I might be different than the way I am today had my father been around to spank me soundly when I deserved it.   Would that have made me a stronger person?  Perhaps.  Would that have instilled violent tendencies in my own personal behavior toward other people?  Perhaps, though unlikely in my view. I am amazed to find us already in 2020 - the beginning of a new decade! Just some wee thoughts!   I think I can be honest when I state that I do much better with consistent discipline, rules and boundaries.  They keep me focused, attentive and have helped me immensely in both my personal and professional life.   It is also true that I respond well to corporal punishment.   I can also say with my heart, there are many times I have tried to avoid punishment, or tried to talk my way out of punishment and yet if I was being honest with myself, I know I need punishment.  I think that if my dad gave into my pleas and promises about being ‘good’ or ‘promising not to it again’, there would be a loss of dependability and reliability, which would result in confusion.   I suppose I prefer having crystal clear boundaries, rules and consequences.   When I think about discipline, it encompasses three main areas attitude (such as respect and obedience), House rules (completing chores, cleaning up after myself) and boundaries (not procrastinating, no traffic violations etc.).   The area where punishment is more intense is a boundary infraction, since they I created myself.   There is one other rule which is as a boy, I am expected to extended every courtesy and be respectful to other Dads.  If a dad is visiting here and I misbehave or show him disrespect, he will be invited to administer punishment.  If I am visiting another dad, them I must obey his rules, and accept punishment when I need it.  Now just so you know any dad that either visits here or I visit, I will have gotten to know very well and there will already be a trust relationship in place.  I am not talking about random strangers I know nothing about tanning my butt.   That is how discipline works in our house, and obviously any breeches have consequences and that means punishment.   Punishments are not limited to spanking, though 90% of the time I do end up staring at the carpet with my bare bottom up in the air.  Other punishments included time out (corner time), grounding, early bed times and denial of pants and/or briefs.   I am not going into these punishments in any great detail but what I can say is that if you have a dad as creative as mine all these punishments, while juvenile in nature can easily be extended to an adult boy.  As an example, being grounded for a week, simply means that as soon as I get home from work, back from shopping or whatever else, my pants and briefs come down for the rest of the day / evening.  That is effectively me being grounded, since I can hardly go anywhere in just my tee and socks!   If I am getting close to a spanking, I may be put in timeout, to give me a chance to reflect on my behavior before it escalates and a spanking becomes necessary.    Being sent to bed early is pretty much self-explanatory but it also means computer powered down and my cell phone in the charger in the lounge.  It also means a good dozen swats to my bare bottom, and while not quite a punishment spanking, I end up in bed with a glowing hot bottom.   As you can imagine none of these punishments are exclusive and can include more than one of them, or a combination, depending on how ‘naughty’ I have been.

Does The Wooden Spoon Really Work?*     Now Cornertime Confidential doesn't usually tell stories out of school, but... This is the story of richie Z when I was about 5 or 6 (Kindergarten and 1st Grade) when he and I were playmates. Mrs. Z, his Mom was a well-known lady in the neighborhood with a nice house, and I was invited over to come play. She was a raven-haired red head and I suspect, on reflection, this may explain some of the rest of this story! So, I rang the doorbell and my Mom wanted to meet Mrs. Z (I assume she must have been "somebody" important or something), and while we waited for Mrs. Z to come outside, richie and I began goofing around. We were having a good time, and then Mrs. Z and my Mom began to talk. When it came for my Mom to leave, we arranged for a pick up time and my Mom left. richie and I began to ride his Big Wheel his Big Wheel up and down the driveway that they had which was a cool driveway. And we played with his trucks which were really neat. I had Tonka trucks too. Then about maybe no more than 15 minutes in, Mrs. Z came out into the side yard between her house and the neighbors while we were playing on the grass and said: "You didn't clean up your room, and you knew you couldn't invite jake over until your room was cleaned up."   "But..."   "richie, go inside and get me The Wooden Spoon." Looking at me he was crazy embarrassed. He turned to his Mom and began to tear up, "Mom...."   "Now get inside. You cannot play with jake until you to get me The Spoon. Then when you're done cleaning up your room, you boys can play. jake wait out here." I could only listen and imagine as Richie went inside as he began to cry to go get The Wooden Spoon for god only knows what! I knew what Wooden Spoons were used for in my house, but could it be true that Mrs. Z used them for the same thing? Well, The Spanking he got musta been really bad because it took a while. And I had to humour myself until he was done cleaning his bedroom up. So it took waaaaaay too long for a boy my age. I was a clever boy though, and I knew how to busy myself when I had toys and was alone.  Then finally, richie came out to the back yard, and we tried to play. As I say, I had to wait outside until all this transpired. But the play date wasn't the same after that.  richie couldn't look me in the eye and just play no matter how much I tried to engage with him. And I said something like, "You Mom's mean."  And richie didn't know how to handle that at all. I don't recall ever playing with richie except on the playground at school. I never got invited over to that cool house again.   But as luck would have it, years later a girl from school told me (as a groan up) that richie went on to be a competitive surfer in Southern California, so maybe the Wooden Spoon worked!
